The Leibster Award

I was quite shocked when a message was sent through my email that says:

“Hi Helena, I’ve been reading your blog and I really found it awesome and inspiring. Because of this, I nominated you for Liebster Award…” (BLOG AWARD)

Seriously? My hobby of writing anything under the sun/ semi non sense blog  JUST-GOT-NOMINATED by a fellow blogger? Hahaha. And I have to thank  http://ebun23.wordpress.com/ for this!!!

What is a Leibster Award anyway? Well for everybody’s information, Leibster may also mean: “getting to know you”, a great way to introduce someone or something to other people for them to be recognized and gain more loyal readers—with blogging in this matter.

For me blogging is more than just writing anything that comes into my mind, it’s more of an outlet for me to release and share what I observe as well as my  (exciting) experiences. I just feel overwhelmed when readers tell me that I made them laugh, that they can relate with my adventures and experiences in life and this news made me even more excited and motivated to write, entertain, and share my gift of (humor) writing. Hahaha.

1. When did you realize you’ve been blessed with writing skills?

• I am not really aware that I have writing skills, but I know that I have the gift to entertain people with my stories and everyday experiences, so that helped me I guess when I write in my blog.

2. Are you adventurous?

• Yes! I am adventurous that I will try anything that will give me thrill and fulfillment such as traveling to places that I have never been to, ride roller coasters over and over again, and the like

3. Other than writing, what are you passionate about?

• I love dancing! Modern dance to be more specific. I am into dances which will sweat it all out! Haha.

4. How long does it usually take for you to finish writing one article?

• It depends on what will I write. If it is just a personal experience, it will just take me 10-15 minutes.

5. What are activities you love doing?

• I like going to malls to eat and play arcade games. But when I ‘m at home, I (just) play games, watch TV, or read a book.

6. What are activities you would want to try?

• I want to try sky and cliff diving! Those two are on my bucket list! Also, I want to go to US and head off to six flags where I could try all sorts of roller coasters!

7. Who is your favorite writer?

• My favorite writer is Mitch Albom! He writes short but very meaningful and life changing novels.

8. Who motivates you to continue writing? (Name 5)

• God

9. What do you do for free time? (Aside writing)

• I work during weekdays and just chill on weekends

10. What do you usually do for hang-outs?

• For as long as there are food, arcades, and/or movies… I’m good!
